Palin's (Alaska) Administration Is All About Building Bridges

Sarah Palin's administration in Alaska is still (gasp) pursuing the fabled "Bridge to Nowhere" project, which links the town of Ketchikan (pop. 7,400) with the airport on Gravina Island (pop. 50).

Man, that's great. Good for Alaska! That's the spirit! Pool your money together and...oh, wait, there also using as much as $73 million of the FEDERAL money that was originally earmarked for the project...you know, the money that Palin's administration KEPT after Congress had killed the project. Thanks, but no thanks, indeed.
