More than the usual puff piece from Good Morning America about Palin's "rhetorical" questions to the Wasilla city librarian Mary Ellen Emmons about banning books.
Now, Mrs. Palin did NOT ban books. Let's make that clear. However, isn't just asking the question scary enough? Isn't that a window into the heart and soul of her "style" of governance? Who cares if the questions were, as her spokesperson claims, "rhetorical"? The issue is NOT whether books were ACTUALLY banned, but that the question was asked at all.
On top of this, the action that Mrs. Palin took after raising this issue with the librarian are, at best, suspect.
