Another (Short) Conversation About Gender

Here are some really interesting Op-Ed takes on Sarah Palin's candidacy:

First, through the lens of Hillary Clintons recent primary experience, as well as her years as first lady, Anne Kornblut of the Washington Post looks at Sarah Palin and asks the months-old political question of where the boundaries are in examining and interviewing Palin (assuming we get to do either).

Next, comes a view from the GOP base, as LA Times contributor Meghan Daum documents her Repub friends' journey from rock star envy of Democrats to redefining the term "All-American Family" because of Sarah Palin's sudden rise.

Then, a pro-Palin feminist perspective from Fox News Political Contributor Tammy Bruce, who, up until this past February, was a card-carrying Democrat. Now, of course, she's registered as a "decline-to state" voter. Her article that talks about her passion for reform and how, although she is anti-choice, she has never initiated any actions on gay rights or abortion while in office.

And, finally, the venerable Gloria Steinem takes a gander into John McCain's mind and Sarah Palin's belief system and realizes the meaning of the phrase "hearts of darkness".
