Now that the conventions are through, it would help to take a look back and assess the claims made at both before moving into the home stretch of this horse race. And FactCheck.org is always a good idea in such matters. This site offers an e-mail newsletter that should be in everybody's inbox.
First up, a look at the facts and how they stretched in Obama's DNC acceptance speech.
Next, a two-parter focusing on the GOP fact-stretching and spin, one of which I may have posted here before.
And, finally, an entry checking the veracity of McCain's claims in his acceptance robot dance.
As a note, I checked the archive at FactCheck and found the above mentioned Obama article to be the only one covering the DNC speeches and claims. Of course, you're probably already over there, checking around their website to make sure I'm giving you all the facts, aren't you? I knew you would be...I'm so proud of you...
