Hello. Welcome to The Long Knives. What follows will be a long talk between two guys whose televisions cower whenever they enter their respective living rooms. You see, those TV’s, they know what they’ve done and they know they need to be punished for it. Those boxes, with their wires, they bring all those political pundits and propaganda puppetry into the homes of people like us every day.

And, sure, it's our own fault for turning it on, but should we, the viewers, take all of the blame? Shouldn't "journalists" hold their integrity to a higher standard than their weekly ratings? Have you ever wondered why, with all of the inundation of information from cable news channels and the Internet and newspapers and half-correct, but completely right politically-extreme books out there…with all of this…have you ever wondered why we never hear about real issues anymore? We do, too.

So, welcome, and hopefully we can cut through the artifice of punditry and politics and face the real issues at stake in this election.
