Hey, it's good to help out our friends in the media, right? They sometimes want to ask a candidate the "fun" questions...like what's the secret ingredient in their mac and cheese recipe (thanks, Jimmy).
But the assignment given to Charlie Gibson by ABC and the McCain campaign is one where, unfortunately, we voters need fun to be thrown out the window. Sorry, Charlie. (Did you REALLY think I could get by without that sentence? Did you?)
So, in the interest of fairness, to voters, to Hangdog Charlie, and to Mrs. Palin, herself, we'd like to point you toward some questions suggested for this historic sitdown by the Anchorage Daily News.
We should consider this her first job interview, so these questions look about right for an opening session. Of course, some of our numbers aren't very optimistic. And, honestly, I can see his point.
